Follow the instructions for cleansing, skincare and sun protection, including SPF 50 on treated skin before and after treatments. Redness, swelling, discomfort or pigment changes can occur, with recovery depending on the procedure and your skin. Treatments are typically spaced approximately six weeks apart. The number of treatments depends on the scar’s type, depth, color, location and healing response.
